We are excited to have this opportunity to team up and offer a speech, language, and sensory immersive program for kids ages 3-8. There will be TWO sessions, split into age groups. Each session will last for 3 hours and will be offered for one day only.

Speech Language Pathologist
Renée is a dedicated pediatric speech-language pathologist and is also the proud owner of Heyday Speech & Language Therapy. If she had the chance, she would gladly swap her middle name for “Play.” Renée wholeheartedly recognizes the vital role of play in every child’s development. Through play, children acquire essential skills and gain insights into their surroundings. For Renée, fostering play isn’t just a task—it’s her passion. Devon Gere Occupational Therapist
Devon is a playful pediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience working with children of different ages and in various settings. With a passion for helping little ones find joy and thrive in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, Devon specializes in sensory processing, feeding, sleep, and regulation. Currently focused on early intervention, Devon is also expanding to build Touchtree OT, a passion project that offers in-home and virtual services for children ages 3+ along the Wasatch Front. Beyond clinical work, Devon actively supports families through social media, sharing valuable insights on YouTube via Food Fun with Dev and connecting with parents on Instagram and TikTok at touchtree.ot. Will camp be covered by insurance?
Unfortunately no, not for this first year at least. We recognize that camp can be an investment and we strive to provide the utmost quality of care with some speech and occupational therapy support mixed in for added benefit.

Will camp be personalized to my child’s unique therapy goals?
Our goal with summer camp is to provide a fun and unique opportunity to create special memories in a safe, therapy-informed space. Our superhero campers will come form a variety of backgrounds and will be working on a variety of different goals in individual therapy. While we cannot guarantee that we will directly work on specific goals, we will do our best to incorporate aspects of what your child is working on and/or the supports that they benefit from (such as heavy work or messy sensory play) to optimize fun and success during our time together. Please feel free to indicate any special information regarding your child’s preferences, goals, etc. in the official intake form.

How many kids will be in camp?
We are capping our camps at about 6 children to ensure that we can support each child and create opportunities for connection, growth, and, most importantly, FUN!
